I'll go in order of the categories for easier reading,
The vision is superbly executed, relating to the subject matter very well (Again, probably something only you and I know about XD). Yay for Newton's cradle!
Originality, lots of original ideas going on here, but of course, without the DT series these drawings would not exist, and they obviously make a lot of references to said series because of that, so I'll give four stars like I did last time. I love what you've added though that is your own, the glowing eyes and that mysterious notepad which I have been unable to figure out what it represents XD
As for technique, I love the scale pattern used on Scales, very realistic, the shading on his horns is also done very true to life and there's so much emotion in that eye. The only thing I think could have been improved on slightly is the texture on his hands, they don't look very talon like, more like rubber gloves, hence the knocking off half a star XD
However, now comes what truly struck at me with this, impact. What I love most about this is the change of emotion in Scales. Instead of the aggression shown in This Dying Soul, now we see a much more confused, mental pained persona. His fires are no longer burning and he's struggling so much to try and contain his confusion and helplessness. If I could, I'd give this 6 stars for impact, very subtly powerful, and sometimes that's the best kind of power in art.
Whew, I'm done. Hope that crit helps you in future. Keep up the awesome job in the meantime!
